Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia

1 h

Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) is defined as the enlargement of a man’s prostate gland. BPH is a health issue that becomes more common with age, causing urinary symptoms such as frequent urination, urinary urgency, and incomplete bladder emptying. Other symptoms include a weak urinary stream, dribbling at the end of urination, and frequent urination at night. BPH is the most common urological problem among men. Dr. Sayegh, at Urology of Hudson Valley, will provide the right information and care in order to ensure that your diagnosis and treatment is tailored to your specific needs and symptoms. There is a wide spectrum of treatment options available for BPH, including medical and surgical treatments. Minimally invasive surgeries for BPH include, but are not limited to, transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP), Greenlight™ Laser Prostatectomy, REZUM™ Water Vapor Therapy, and Urolift® System. At Urology of Hudson Valley, you can be assured that Dr. Sayegh will spend the time necessary to discuss all treatment options, both medical and surgical.
